Almost every website designer has gone thru the pain of cutting an image in 5 or 6 small parts and assemble them again in the website just to show some round corners and save some bandwidth.

Almost every website designer has gone thru the pain of cutting an image in 5 or 6 small parts and assemble them again in the website just to show some round corners and save some bandwidth.

But this has come to an end, with the arriving of HTML5 and CSS3 this wont longer be necessary.

They can be combined with JavaScript to create great and dynamic sites without the need of any flash animations or even images.

This will result in smaller html files that will run faster on the browser and take less bandwidth.

Its definitely a great time to be a web designer!
