CARLOS MONTEMAYOR

Carlos Montemayor is an entrepreneur and business executive with over 25 years of professional experience as an engineer, management consultant, sales and business development and chief executive. He co-founded INFLECTION POINT in 2003 and has served as CEO since the company's inception. Under his leadership, the company has grown to become a leading nearshore software product development provider in the industry, providing consulting and software development services to develop SOA, Security, Ecommerce and Mission-Critical Applications for Financial, Healthcare, Logistics, Education and High Tech companies.

Prior to launching INFLECTION POINT, Carlos co-founded Sinope Systems, a mobile consulting and software services company that was acquired by Aether Systems, Inc. in 2000. Carlos served as VP International Sales and Business development at Aether after this acquisition. Earlier, Carlos held various positions including strategic management consultant with Bain & Co; vice president of engineering for Dextra Technologies and Microprocessor Design and Verification engineer with both LSI Logic and Motorola.

Carlos holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from ITESM (earned with the highest academic distinction, Mención de Excelencia) in Monterrey; Mexico, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, and an MBA with focus in finance and economics from the Institut Européen dAdministration des Affaires (INSEAD) in Fountainbleau, France.
