Microsoft SharePoint 2016 review

Last August, Microsoft released the preview of the latest version of its collaboration tool SharePoint 2016. In case that you haven’t had the luck to work with this tool, check out this article!

SharePoint is a collaborative tool from Microsoft that allows departments within a company to share information through websites that can be easily spin within seconds without the help of an IT professional or developer. Then you can edit the look and feel of your site just by dragging and dropping content through your web browser.

All this content is stored inside libraries, which are rich content repositories, for it to be shared throughout the teams. But saying this is just touching the surface, all this can be versioned in case that you want to audit or go back to an specific point of time of your document, it can trigger approval workflows or even edited online (Office documents).

For more advanced users you can even use HTML5 and javascript to create dynamic sites and interact with SharePoint REST Api to interact with your SharePoint Content.
