Lost in the 2nd page of Google

"It is not a lack of publications on social networks, it is a lack of interaction and engagement."

Have you ever gone further than the first page of Google when trying to find a service, product, or such? A couple of days ago, I found an article which helped me write this blog. The article is called “The Best Place to Hide a Dead Body is Page Two of Google”. The article made me think about, how important marketing is and also, how Google is making a  positive or negative impact over the companies.

I realized how a keyword’s organic position works and personally I had never seen the value of this for getting the expected results. No matter how many meta-tags, meta-keywords, meta-whatever, you use, nothing will ever work better than keywords with real value. What I mean by this is simplify the search by correctly positioning your keywords in your blog within the titles, subtitles, on your site pages and they could be put so the customer can find a solution to their problems.

Integrated Marketing Solutions:

It is not a lack of publications on social networks, it is a lack of interaction and engagement.

It is not a lack of site or design, is a lack of navigation to bring the conversion to the user.

Visibility and the power Google has in its search engines can be translated into an effective strategy and integrated marketing. It´s known that the most popular brands achieve the first ranking of google with incredible marketing strategy built behind, instead of using good meta-tags. More specifically, delivering utility and value to audiences who frequent your site, looking for solutions that they can give.

Matt Cutts, head of Google’s Webspam team, says:

“The philosophy that we’ve always had is if you make something that’s compelling then it would be much easier to get people to write about it and to link to it. And so a lot of people approach it from a direction that’s backward. They try to get the links first and then they want to be grandfathered in or think they will be a successful website as a result.”

All this is directly related to how people care about something or someone, how people find value and utility.

Sell Solutions, stop struggling!

If you know your brand can fix someone's issue, let´s talk about it. People does not know the way to resolve their problem is provided by you, instead, they’ll look for ways to solve this issue with you.

Google will never stop updating the search algorithm, and will always be improving in order to retrieve the user what they are looking for in a faster way and more segmented. So, why not going a step forward by creating useful and of valuable information to the audience who needs content!
