Back to School Supply Drive - 2019

Our Social Responsibility Committee has done it again!

It's time to help the community and Back to School season is the perfect way to get involved this Summer. Inspired by this great event, Inflection Point organized a collection of school supplies for a low-income school.

The purpose of this Back To School Supply Drive was to ensure that low-income children who began their school activities have the tools they need and feel ready to learn; in this first edition, we helped more than 100 children in the Altamira - La Campana Zone. We served the children during the back-to-school season and distributed the goods in time for the first day of school.

In Nuevo León, the average education level of the population aged 15 years and over is 10.3 degrees, which is equivalent to a little more than the first year of upper-middle education. Nationally, the population aged 15 years and over has 9.2 degrees of schooling on average, which means a little more than the middle school was completed.Of every 100 people aged 15 years and over in Mexico:

  • 2.2 do not have any degree of schooling.

  • 50.4 have finished basic education.

  • 22.8 finished high school

  • 24.2 completed higher education.

  • 0.4 not specified.

We are thrilled and proud to share with you that we surpassed our goal by raising more than 100 kits. The school items that were collected within 15 days of the campaign are in total 830!
