HOGA is a private non-profit entity located in Guadalupe, Nuevo León. Founded in 1991, HOGA provides service to people with physical disabilities and developmental disorders through equestrian therapies. They give rehabilitation, artistic workshops and equestrian sports training to achieve the highest degree of independence. Currently, they provide personalized services on a monthly basis to 150 families.
This time of the year, Infection Point members volunteered in this initiative, donating and sponsoring a member of the association with the purpose of helping 150+ children and their families with a Christmas present. Alongside our peers, IPS donated 50 extra toys to the children.
Last Monday, December 9th, HOGA celebrated its annual Christmas party. All the kids attended and enjoyed the festivities with their families. They had their photo taken with Santa, sang along Christmas carols, smacked the traditional piñata, ate delicious cake, and shared a wonderful time along with their peers.
Our company members who were invited had the opportunity to witness a very special moment as they saw the kids receiving their Christmas present at the end of the party. The kids had smiles on their faces as they saw what they had asked Santa for. It was a very emotional moment to see them light up as they held their toys with excitement. Some even couldn’t wait and opened their present that very moment!
I think I can speak on behalf of the IPS members that contributed to this cause, that our hearts are filled with joy knowing we made them happy. We are also grateful that HOGA let us be part of this special moment that is their Christmas celebration.
If you wish to know more about HOGA or donate to their cause, you have the possibility to find out how on their webpage.
